New Country Living may begin with your home
site, one of ours, or one we find for you. With your
home site selected, we go through a custom process designed
to turn your dreams into reality and assure your total
satisfaction.
- Initial consultation meetings and project assessment:
We will meet with you to assess your project's
planning status, dreams and goals, and specific client
and project requirements. Call us at (540)751-0600
- Consulting Agreement:
Many of our custom home clients utilize our expertise in project planning to help prepare their construction documents (e.g., site plan engineering, building specifications and selections, architectural plans and details, structural engineering, soil analysis and project permits, etc.).
- Development Agreement:
We also offer development services to prepare your lot for home construction. This may entail demolition of existing structures on the site, clearing and grading, construction entrance, and drain field, well or other utility connections.
- Construction Agreement:
We have professional and contract documents
that thoroughly define the construction process, product and
warranty. It will include final plans, specifications,
selections and options for a fixed contract price.
- Progress Reporting: We
maintain close personal contact with weekly status
reports. This provides
you with a forum for selections, changes and clarifications,
as well as discussion of issues and identification
of upcoming construction activities.
- Inspections and On-Site Meetings:
We
schedule meetings and project inspections for pre-construction,
rough frame, pre-electric, pre-drywall, pre-trade final
and pre-occupancy.
- Settlement:
Before you occupy your new home, we will provide you with
a comprehensive orientation and present a binder with
all of your new home warranties.
- Warranty: Bay Homes features
the best brand name warranty protection in the industry,

can only qualify by meeting a very strict set of criteria
that defines them as being the "best of the best."
